Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) -- The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan Bakhtiyor Saidov held a telephone conversation with Bui Thanh Son, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Vietnam.
On behalf of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Shavkat Mirziyoyev, the Uzbek Foreign Minister once again expressed his deepest condolences over the passing of the General Secretary of the Communist Party of Vietnam, Nguyen Phu Trong.
"Our countries can leverage numerous opportunities to enrich bilateral relations, develop dynamic cooperation, and create new bridges in all spheres," noted Bakhtiyor Saidov.
The ministers discussed upcoming high-level exchanges, the development of economic ties, and the promotion of investments.
"We value the close partnership established between the foreign ministries of Uzbekistan and Vietnam," stated the head of Uzbekistan’s foreign ministry.
