Finnish envoy holds talks at Uzbek MFA

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Roving Ambassador of Finland to Uzbekistan Ms. Tuula Yrjölä held a meeting at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan o n 23 February 2012.

Tuula Yrjölä arrived in Tashkent to participate at the international conference “Assisting to reforming judicial-legal system in Uzbekistan.

During the meeting, the sides discussed current state and perspectives of further development of the Uzbek-Finnish cooperation. The sides paid attention to priority directions of interaction in 2012 and events dedicated to the 20th anniversary of diplomatic relations between two states.

The parties underlined mutual interest in expanding bilateral relations, boosting contacts in political, trade-economic, cultural-humanitarian spheres.
