Ferghana Region and Orientex Synergy Discuss Housing Projects
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) — The Hokim of the Ferghana Region, Khayrullo Bozorov, held a meeting with a delegation from the Malaysian company Orientex Synergy Sdn Bhd, led by Chief Executive Officer Mohd Hafiz bin Sharifuddin. The parties discussed practical steps for implementing joint investment projects in the field of residential construction.
The delegation's visit was a continuation of agreements reached during an official trip by the Ferghana Region Hokim to Malaysia on 1–3 June 2026, where cooperation plans for building modern residential complexes in the region were coordinated.
During the talks, Khayrullo Bozorov noted the high level of development in Malaysia's construction sector and emphasized that programs for building modern multi-apartment residential buildings are being actively implemented in Uzbekistan, including the Ferghana Region, to meet the growing demand for housing.
Representatives of Orientex Synergy stated that the purpose of their visit is to conduct a detailed study of ongoing construction projects, evaluate promising sites, and determine directions for further cooperation.
The Ferghana side expressed its readiness to provide the delegation with an opportunity to familiarize themselves with land plots proposed for construction, areas included in the urban renewal program, and modern residential complexes. Specialized professionals will be assigned to assist the investors with the project.
Following the meeting, the parties agreed to continue joint work on preparing and implementing investment projects, as well as developing long-term cooperation in the construction sector.
