Ferghana Expands Trade and Investment Ties With Afghanistan
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) — A delegation from the Ferghana region, led by Governor Khayrullo Bozorov, has arrived in Afghanistan to develop trade, economic, and investment cooperation. The delegation includes about 150 entrepreneurs from the region.
Official meetings and business negotiations are scheduled in Kabul and Mazar-i-Sharif during the visit. Representatives of the Ferghana region also intend to examine Afghan market opportunities, identify promising manufacturing sectors based on local demand, and increase export volumes.
Special attention will be given to developing direct cooperative ties between business owners from both countries. Plans are also underway to open new Ferghana Trade Houses in Kabul and Mazar-i-Sharif as part of the visit.
The delegation from the Ferghana region was welcomed at Kabul International Airport by the Chairman of the Afghanistan Chamber of Commerce and Investment, Sayed Karim Hashimi, alongside other officials.
