EU, Uzbek officials discuss bilateral relations, upcoming contacts

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Head of the Delegation of the European Union in Uzbekistan Ambassador Yuri Sterk was received at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan on 14 January 2013.

The sides exchanged opinion on relations between Uzbekistan and European Union, actual international and regional problems, the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan said.

They also discussed perspective directions of expanding cooperation, including practical issues of upcoming contacts in various levels.

The sides underlined mutual interest in implementation of joint projects in bilateral format and within the EU Strategy for Central Asia.
