Earthquake registered in Uzbekistan

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- An earthquake with epicenter in neighboring Tajikistan was registered in Tashkent city at 04:30 on Sunday, 13 May 2012.

According to Tashkent seismic station, the earthquake magnitude in capital city of Uzbekistan was 2-3 points, in Ferghana - 3 points, in Andijan and Namangan - about 2 points.

The magnitude of earthquake at the epicenter, which is located 300 kilometers from Tashkent to the southern-eastern direction at Tajikistan’s territory, was 5.1 points.
