Earthquake registered in Jizzakh

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) -- An earthquake with the power of 3 points was registered in Jizzakh at 16:50 of 8 August 2016, according to Tashkent seismic station.

The station said that the epicenter of the earthquake was in Uzbekistan – 22 km away from Jizzakh and 207 km from Tashkent. The magnitude of the earthquake at the epicenter was 4.2

The earthquake was not recorded in other regions of Uzbekistan, Emergency Ministry said. There is no information on destructions or victims.
