Earthquake in Afghanistan jolts Uzbekistan

An earthquake with epicenter in Hindu Kush mountains in Afghanistan was registered in Tashkent at 14:07 on Friday, 8 January 2016.
According to the data of the European-Mediterranean Seismology Center, the magnitude at the epicenter was 5.
Tashkent seismic station said that the power of tremors in Tashkent was 2 points.
The epicenter was located about 540 km away from Tashkent in Hindu Kush mountains (Afghanistan).
