Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) — Starting from 1 July 2025, a new resolution by the Cabinet of Ministers of Uzbekistan comes into effect, simplifying the check-in process for domestic flights. Passengers will now be able to check in using the electronic version of their identity document.
Before check-in at the airport, passengers must log into their personal account on the my.gov.uz portal or in the “Social Card” mobile application. The active ID card is displayed on the personal data page, which the passenger presents to the staff at the check-in counter.
Only official electronic versions of identity documents accessed via my.gov.uz or the “Social Card” will be accepted.
The following will not be accepted:
- Document copies,
- Photographs of a passport or ID card,
- Scanned images,
- Screenshots of personal data pages.
In other words, only data retrieved from the designated official digital sources will be considered valid identification for domestic flight registration.
