Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) — New deputy heads have been appointed in several regions of Uzbekistan to oversee tourism, culture, cultural heritage, mass communications, agriculture and water management, as well as visits by official delegations.
Dilobar Kattabekova has been appointed Deputy Hokim of Syrdarya region for tourism, culture, cultural heritage and mass communications. She previously held a senior position at Gulistan State University.
Ajiniyaz Kaipnazarov has been appointed Deputy Chairman of the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Karakalpakstan for tourism, culture, cultural heritage and mass communications. He previously worked at the Ministry of Economy and Finance.
Rustamjon Egamberdiyev has been appointed Deputy Hokim of Andijan region for tourism, culture, cultural heritage and mass communications. Previously, he served as Deputy Hokim of Khojaabad district.
Khondamir Akhunbabaev has been appointed Deputy Hokim of Namangan region for tourism, culture, cultural heritage and mass communications. Before his appointment, he headed the state institution Directorate of the Namangan Free Economic Zone.
Azizbek Abdusalomov has been appointed another Deputy Hokim of Namangan region. He will oversee agriculture and water management and simultaneously head the regional Department of Agriculture. Previously, Abdusalomov served as First Deputy Hokim of Mingbulak district.
In Samarkand region, Rustam Kobilov has been appointed Deputy Hokim for official delegation visits. Previously, he served as Deputy Hokim of the region for tourism, culture, cultural heritage and mass communications.
Jhurabek Suyunov has been appointed Deputy Hokim of Samarkand region for tourism, culture, cultural heritage and mass communications. He previously headed the regional Department of Tourism.
