Direct Tashkent–Yerevan Flights to Launch in May 2026
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Direct air connectivity between Tashkent and Yerevan is expected to be restored for the first time in decades as early as May 2026.
The route is planned to operate once a week on Boeing 737 aircraft.
The launch of the new service is expected to strengthen tourism and business ties between Uzbekistan and Armenia, while expanding transport options for passengers of both countries. Until now, travellers have relied on connecting flights via Moscow, Istanbul, and Tbilisi.
The carrier on the route will be Armenian airline Shirak Avia, based at Zvartnots International Airport in Yerevan. Founded in 2019, the airline operates international services across several destinations using the Boeing 737 family aircraft.
