Dilnozakhon Kattakhonova appointed Deputy Prime Minister

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) — The President of the Republic of Uzbekistan has signed decrees concerning personnel changes in the leadership of the Committee for Family and Women.

Dilnozakhon Kattakhonova has been appointed as Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Uzbekistan and Chairperson of the Committee for Family and Women. In connection with the new appointment, Kattakhonova was relieved of her post as First Deputy Director of the Youth Affairs Agency of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

By another presidential decree, Zulaykho Makhkamova was relieved of her post as Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Uzbekistan and Chairperson of the Committee for Family and Women due to her transfer to another job.

In accordance with current legislation, candidacies for membership in the Cabinet of Ministers, including ministers, are reviewed by deputies of the Legislative Chamber of the Oliy Majlis before appointment to office.

At a regular plenary session of the Legislative Chamber of the Oliy Majlis, deputies reviewed and approved the candidacy of Dilnozakhon Kattakhonova for the position of Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Uzbekistan and Chairperson of the Committee for Family and Women.
