Digital television in MMDS standard created in Navoi city

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Center for radio communication, broadcasting and television State Unitary Enterprise is organizing digital television in MMDS standard in Navoi city, Navoi region, in cooperation with Dildora-F private enterprise.

Currently, the assembly of equipment was completed and test work on rendering digital television broadcasting in MMDS standard.

After assembly and commissioning in test mode, the specialists are measuring main figures of broadcasting stations. The specialists also measured coverage area with digital television system in the city. The measures showed that average coverage zone is about 45 km.

The company said it is planned to launch paid television services after equipment will be commissioned to exploitation.
