Denis Istomin upsets fourth seeded Tommy Haas

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Uzbekistan’s Denis Istomin reached the quarterfinals of ATP San Jose on Thursday, upsetting the fourth seeded Tommy Haas of Germany.

Istomin recorded victory in straight sets – 7/6(3) and 6/2. Haas blew five set points in the first set.

Then in the second set, the German double-faulted on break point in his first service game and was broken to love to lose the match.
