Denis Istomin loses to Fernando Verdasco

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Uzbekistan’s Denis Istomin lost to second seed Fernando Verdasco of Spain in semifinal match of the ATP San Jose.

Istomin lost to Spaniard in three sets 6/3, 2/6 and 6/4 in one hour 43 minutes.

Verdasco will meet the winner of the other semi-final between American top seed Andy Roddick and his seventh-seeded compatriot Sam Querrey in Sunday’s final.
