Denis Istomin loses in first round of BMW Open

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Denis Istomin of Uzbekistan could not move to the second round of the BMW Open, which is taking place this week in Munich, Germany.

Uzbekistan’s No. 1 faced local player Andreas Beck and lost 2-6, 7-6 (3), 6-1. It is worth to note that this is first victory of Beck in six tournaments.

The match lasted an hour and 53 minutes. Beck now will face Russian Mikhail Yuzhniy.
