Infantino Congratulates Uzbekistan on World Cup Debut

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Official representatives of Uzbekistan, who arrived in Mexico to support the national football team, held a meeting with FIFA President Gianni Infantino at the Azteca Stadium.

During the conversation, the head of FIFA congratulated the Uzbekistan national team on its historic debut at the World Cup and wished the team success in its upcoming matches.

In turn, representatives of the Ministry of Sport, the National Olympic and Paralympic Committees, and the Uzbekistan Football Association expressed their gratitude to Gianni Infantino and emphasized the significance of the match against Colombia for the further development of national football.

Additionally, the Uzbek delegation congratulated the President of the Colombian Football Federation and FIFA Council Member Ramon Jesurun on his team's victory and presented him with a commemorative gift.
