Denis Istomin books place in main draw of Miami Masters

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- On Wednesday, Denis Istomin of Uzbekistan booked his place in the main draw of турнира Sony Ericsson Open-2010, which is taking place in Miami, USA.

Top seeded Istomin, 23, defeated 143rd player of the world Stephane Bohli of Switzerland.

Stephane Bohli won the first set with the score 6/4. In the second round, Denis Istomin used all his brake points to claim set – 6/3.

In the third round, Swiss player had problems with serve and helped Istomin to win it – 6/3.

The victory allowed Denis Istomin to qualify to main draw of tournament with prize fund of US$3.645 million.
