Denis Istomin advances to quarterfinals in Düsseldorf

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) -- Uzbekistan number one Denis Istomin advanced to the quarterfinals of Düsseldorf Open in Germany.

In the second quarter, Istomin outplayed Jason Kubler of Australia in three sets - 3/6, 6/4, 6/2.

The match lasted an hour and 38 minutes. Denis Istomin recorded four aces and once committed double fault. Kubler registered five double faults.

Istomin will face either Andreas Seppi of Italy or Adrian Mannarino of France.
