Defence Ministers of Uzbekistan and Latvia holds meeting

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Minister of Defence of Uzbekistan Qabul Berdiev held negotiations with the Minister of Defence of Latvia Raimonds Vējonis, the Latvian mass media reported.

During the meeting, the sides considered perspectives of bilateral cooperation, regional security tasks in context of situation in Ukraine and Afghanistan.

Ministers of Defence considered issues on training military personnel, transit of non-lethal cargo to Afghanistan via Northern route, etc.
