CSCEC Discusses Pharmaceutical Projects with Uzbekistan

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) — Abdulla Azizov, director of Uzbekistan’s Agency for the Development of the Medical and Pharmaceutical Industry, met with representatives of China State Construction Engineering Corporation (CSCEC) on 14 August.

The sides discussed the development of the pharmaceutical industry, the creation of modern production and research infrastructure, and the implementation of major investment projects, the Agency for the Development of the Medical and Pharmaceutical Industry said.

Particular attention was paid to the possible use of CSCEC’s international experience and modern construction solutions in developing facilities for the BioPharma City pharmaceutical cluster.

The sides specifically considered prospects for constructing modern laboratories, research centres, production facilities and engineering infrastructure.

The participants also discussed the use of modern technologies in the design and construction of facilities, attracting investment and the possibility of jointly implementing major infrastructure projects.

Following the talks, the sides exchanged views on further cooperation in the areas discussed.
