Uzbekistan Taekwondo Team to Compete at WT President’s Cup

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) — Uzbekistan’s national taekwondo WT team will compete at the WT President’s Cup Asia Region 2026, which will be held in Lahore, Pakistan, on 18-20 August. A total of 24 representatives of the national team have travelled to the tournament.

The men’s team includes Jakhongir Khudoyberdiyev and Behruz Salimov in the up to 54 kg category, Asadbek Samandarov and Omonjon Otajonov in the up to 58 kg category, and Nazarali Nazarov in the up to 63 kg category.

In the up to 68 kg category, Uzbekistan will be represented by Ayubkhon Nabiev, Diyorbek Tukhlibov and Omadbek Otabekov. Nazhmiddin Kosimkhojiev, Mironshohmirzo Muzaffarov and Ahadjon Mukhtorov will compete in the up to 74 kg category. Jasurbek Zhaisunov is entered in the up to 80 kg category, Yodgorbek Zhurabeyev in the up to 87 kg category, and Khudoynazar Shodmonov in the over 87 kg category.

The women’s team consists of Laylo Khasanova in the up to 53 kg category, Madina Mirabzalova and Shabbonа Abduvaliyeva in the up to 57 kg category, and Sevinch Khayitova, Mohidil Uktamzhonova and Diyora Azizova in the up to 62 kg category.

Jasmina Turlibekova and Ozoda Sabirjonova will compete in the up to 67 kg category. Iroda Mirtojieva and Svetlana Saidova are entered in the over 73 kg category.
