Financial Services Lead Growth in Uzbekistan
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) — The volume of market services in Uzbekistan reached 664.9 trillion soums in January-June 2026, increasing by 16.9% compared with the same period last year. The fastest growth was recorded in financial services, architectural and engineering services, education, and communications and information services, according to the National Statistics Committee.
Financial services recorded the highest growth rate at 26.3%. They were followed by architectural services, engineering surveys, technical testing and analysis, which increased by 24.6%.
Education services grew by 22.7%, while communications and information services increased by 22.1%.
Real estate-related services grew by 18.3%. Healthcare services increased by 16.8%, while other services rose by 16.3%.
Trade services increased by 14.9%, transport services by 14.7%, and personal services by 14.2%.
More moderate growth was recorded in accommodation and food services, at 11.6%, computer and household goods repair services, at 11.4%, and rental services, at 7.4%.
Thus, among the listed types of services, financial services recorded the fastest growth in the first half of 2026, followed by architectural and engineering services, education, and communications and information services.
