Uzbekistan Expands Export Links with Chinese Regions
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) — Representatives of export companies from the Tashkent, Samarkand, Ferghana, Namangan and Andijan regions of Uzbekistan held business missions in Shanghai and Urumqi, where they discussed opportunities to expand supplies of Uzbek products with Chinese partners. The Dunyo news agency reported.
The events were organized by the Embassy of Uzbekistan jointly with the Ministry of Investment, Trade and Industry.
In Shanghai, Uzbek companies held talks with major importers, retail chains and representatives of e-commerce platforms. Participants presented their products and outlined their production capabilities, product ranges and export potential.
During B2B meetings, the sides discussed conditions for Uzbek goods to enter the Chinese market, including pricing, logistics, labeling and certification. Particular attention was paid to potential sales channels.
Chinese partners were presented with product catalogs, commercial proposals and product samples.
In Urumqi, talks were held at an exhibition and trade center in a bonded zone. Uzbek companies presented their product ranges and competitive advantages, as well as information on their production capacities and potential to increase exports to China.
The organizers said the business missions were aimed at establishing direct business contacts between companies from the two countries and expanding channels for supplying Uzbek goods to various regions of China.
