Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) — Ferghana Region Governor Khairullo Bozorov met with a delegation from South Korean company AHA Co., Ltd. led by its head, Ku Gi Do.
The sides discussed the implementation of an investment project to produce electrical products and prospects for expanding cooperation, the Ferghana regional administration said.
The project is being implemented in Ferghana Ecocity. The new enterprise is expected to localize production of interactive flat panel displays (IFPDs), electric vehicle chargers, medical equipment and other products for both the domestic and export markets.
Khairullo Bozorov highly praised the South Korean investor’s activity in implementing the project.
Representatives of AHA Co., Ltd. briefed the regional governor on the company’s ongoing work. According to them, the products of the new enterprise are generating significant interest in domestic and foreign markets, prompting the company to sign a number of cooperation agreements.
The company has also opened a sales office in Tashkent. AHA Co., Ltd. additionally provided grants to 11 students of Ferghana State Technical University.
The meeting also noted the start of practical implementation of the company’s projects in information technology.
Following the talks, the sides identified specific measures to develop new areas of cooperation.
