Condor Energies Boosts Gas Output in Uzbekistan

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Canadian energy company Condor Energies Inc., operating in Central Asia and focused on energy transition projects, has reported updated operational data from Uzbekistan, reaching a new corporate production record.

Following the commissioning of the new horizontal well Kumli-46, the company exceeded 14,000 barrels of oil equivalent per day. Average output over the last 72 hours stood at 13,938 boe/d, while production over the past 24 hours reached 14,013 boe/d.

The initial flow rate of the well peaked at 18.3 million cubic feet of gas per day, equivalent to approximately 3,050 boe/d.

Production was partially constrained to manage high gas flow rates. The company reported no decline in output from either Kumli-45 or Kumli-46 and does not expect short-term production risks, citing reservoir pressure above 1,400 psi recorded at Kumli-46 over the past 72 hours.

Meanwhile, drilling continues on the next horizontal well, Kumli-47, which has already reached a depth of 509 meters for surface casing installation. Cementing and casing operations are currently underway.

The well targets the same highly porous dolomite formation as Kumli-46, which is considered highly productive for gas extraction. Drilling is expected to reach target depth by mid-May 2026.

Workover and maintenance activities are also ongoing across existing wells to offset natural production decline of approximately 20 percent per year, typical for mature fields.

Condor Energies CEO Don Stre stated that the launch of Kumli-46 has increased average daily production by 32 percent compared to the fourth quarter of 2025.

He noted that the application of Western technologies allows the company to efficiently identify and monetize hydrocarbon resources while maintaining cost control and operational efficiency.

He also emphasized that the horizontal drilling program could significantly increase production and reserves in 2026, while strengthening Uzbekistan’s energy security.
