Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) -- A traffic accident occurred on 3 April on the Samara-Shymkent highway near the village of Marjanbulak in Aktobe region of Kazakhstan with the participation of citizens of Uzbekistan.

As a result of the accident, a Volvo truck and a Toyota Alphard minivan driven by a citizen of Uzbekistan collided. As a result of the accident, the driver of the minivan and his seven passengers, also citizens of Uzbekistan, died at the scene.

According to preliminary data, the truck’s tire burst while driving, as a result of which the driver lost control of the vehicle and drove into oncoming traffic, where a collision occurred with a minivan.

A pre-trial investigation has been launched into the accident. Appropriate examinations have been appointed to clarify the circumstances of the accident.
