Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) — Regular cargo flights between Nanjing, China, and Tashkent are planned to start on 12 October 2026, with three flights per week, Uzbekistan Airports said.
The launch of the new route was discussed at a working meeting between Uzbekistan Airports and representatives of Jiangxi International Cargo Airlines and Beijing Capital Airlines.
Airbus A330 freighter aircraft are planned to operate the flights. Cargo services are expected to be provided in both directions, with equipment and cross-border e-commerce goods among the main potential cargo categories.
The participants discussed commercial and operational issues related to the possible launch of the route. These included airport, ground-handling and warehouse services, aircraft refuelling, as well as preparations for the necessary infrastructure and personnel.
Nanjing is a major industrial and logistics centre in eastern China and the administrative centre of Jiangsu Province. The city is located on the Yangtze River, about 300 km from Shanghai.
The launch of regular cargo services between Nanjing and Tashkent is expected to expand the geography of direct air freight services and create additional opportunities for trade and logistics links and cross-border e-commerce.
