CIS Foreign Ministers gather in Moscow

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) -- A session of the Council of Foreign Ministry of the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) gathered in Moscow on 9 December 2010.

The CIS officials will discuss international issues of mutual interest and actual issues of developing multilateral interaction within the CIS area.

It is also planned to consider several documents directed at developing collective interaction in law enforcement, ensuring border security and military policy, as well as humanitarian directions.

Ministers will discuss several mid-term and long-term programmes in various areas, which will be submitted to the session of Heads of States Council of the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS).

Participants will also consider some organizational issues, including related to upcoming session of the Heads of States Council of the CIS.
