China Southern Airlines launches Urumqi-Samarkand flight

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) -- On 9 August 2023, a meeting was held at the Ministry of Transport with representatives of China Southern Airlines.

The sides discussed the opening of a new direction Urumqi - Samarkand, the operation of flights under the commercial agreement "Code Sharing" with Uzbekistan Airways and increase in frequencies up to 4 times a week on the Beijing-Tashkent route. This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Transport.

Representatives of the Ministry of Transport informed about the existing quotas between Uzbekistan and China, and about the negotiations between the Aviation Authorities of the two countries in October this year in Beijing.
