China Exports 478 More Head of Cattle to Uzbekistan

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) — A total of 478 head of dairy and beef cattle have been exported to Uzbekistan from Wuzhong City in China's Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region, Dunyo news agency reported, citing Chinese news agency Xinhua.According to the agency, Wuzhong has supplied more than 1,700 head of cattle to Uzbekistan since November 2025, with dairy cows accounting for the majority of the exports.

Local authorities reported that all animals were exported in compliance with veterinary and sanitary requirements.

Each shipment was accompanied by documentation certifying disinfection and immunization, as well as quarantine certificates.

The Wuzhong Municipal Bureau of Agriculture and Rural Affairs noted that local dairy cows feature high productivity and strong genetic traits.

According to the bureau, the region has maintained high standards of epizootic disease prevention and control over a long period.

Furthermore, the department emphasized that the similar climatic conditions between Wuzhong and Central Asian countries facilitate better adaptation of animals to the region's natural environment and feed supply, making them sought-after in the Uzbek market.
