Central Bank of Uzbekistan issues new licenses to Qisloq Qurilish Bank and Agrobank

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Central Bank of Uzbekistan replaced licenses on carrying of banking operations and general licenses on carrying out operations with hard currency of Qisloq Qurilish Bank and Agrobank.

The Board of the Central Bank of Uzbekistan adopted a corresponding decision on 30 April 2009, the press service of the bank said.

As earlier reported, Uzbek President Islam Karimov signed a resolution “On creation of joint stock commercial bank Qisloq Qurilish Bank (on the base of Gallabank)” and “On organization of joint stock commercial bank Agrobank (on the base of Pakhtabank)” from 30 March 2009.
