Center for repairing composite airplanes to be launched in Tashkent in 2014

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) -- Uzbekistan Havo Yollari national airline and the US company Boeing will open center for repairing elements of constructions of the airplanes, made from composite materials by the end of 2014.

It is planned that installation of equipment will be completed in September, while commissioning works will take place in November. The center will commission by the end of 2014.

In preliminary stage, the center will repair large elements of airplanes Boeing-757 and Boeing-767. From 2016, the center will start to provide maintenance services for Boeing-787.
