Uzkimyosanoat, Mendeleev University expand cooperation

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) — Joint Stock Company Uzkimyosanoat held a meeting with Sergey Filatov, Rector of the D. Mendeleev University of Chemical Technology of Russia, to discuss prospects for developing cooperation in education, science, and personnel training for the chemical industry.

The participants reviewed issues concerning the training of highly qualified specialists, strengthening the integration of education and production, and expanding scientific interaction.

Particular attention was paid to broadening the university branch's participation in the educational and innovative cluster of the chemical industry, developing the dual education system, organizing student internships, and improving employment mechanisms for graduates.

In addition, the two sides discussed the implementation of joint scientific and educational projects tailored to the needs of the industry, the advancement of scientific research, academic exchange programs, and professional development initiatives for specialists.

Following the meeting, an agreement was reached to further develop cooperation across education, science, and manufacturing, as well as to collaborate on training competitive personnel and building a modern educational environment for the chemical industry.
