Bishkek offers to resume work of Uzbek-Kyrgyz intergovernmental commission

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Prime Minister of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyayev held a telephone conversation with the Prime Minister of Kyrgyzstan Joomart Otorbaev on 31 December 2014, the press service of the Kyrgyz government said.

During the talks, Joomart Otorbaev congratulated his Uzbek colleague with the New Year and expressed gratitude for resumption of gas supplies to south of Kyrgyzstan.

In the telephone conversation, the sides considered issues of the Kyrgyz-Uzbek cooperation. The Kyrgyz side offered resume activities of the Kyrgyz-Uzbek intergovernmental commission.
