Beeline speeds up mobile Internet

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Single communication operator Beeline (Unitel LLC and Buzton JV) announced about improvement of 3G network parameters. Now, subscribers of Beeline can use Internet at the speed of 7.2 Mbps.

Anton Golikov, technical director of Unitel, said: “We are happy that our work help to internetization of the country. Beeline once more confirmed status of innovative leader, completing 3G network upgrade, and started to offer internet at the speed of 7.2 Mbps.”

The operator added that it will start to sell new 3G modems, supporting data transfer at the speed of 7.2 Mpbs, in summer 2011.
