Bakhtiyor Abdusamatov heads Uzbek nature committee

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Senate of Oliy Majlis of Uzbekistan appointed the chairperson of the State Committee of Uzbekistan on nature protection on 13 December 2013.

Senators today appointed Bakhtiyor Abdusamatov to the post of the chairperson of the State Committee of Uzbekistan on nature protection.

Prior to appointment, Bakhtiyor Abdusamatov worked as deputy minister of foreign economic relations, investment and trade of Uzbekistan.

Bakhtiyor Abdusamatov replaced Nariman Umarov at this post. Umarov has been elected as chairperson of the political council of Social-Democratic Party of Uzbekistan Adolat in June 2013.
