Azerbaijan’s President to pay official visit to Uzbekistan

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) -- Azerbaijani President Ilkham Aliev will pay an official visit to Uzbekistan on 27-28 September 2010, the official statement, published at UzA, said.

Ilkham Aliev will visit Uzbekistan on invitation of the Uzbek President Islam Karimov, the statement reads.

During the visit, the sides will consider issues of expanding and deepening the Uzbekistani-Azerbaijani cooperation, actual issues of regional and international character of mutual interest.

It is planned to sign several bilateral documents, directed at deepening interaction of two states in various sectors, after the talks.
