Azerbaijan Mining Expo 2027 Set for Baku in September 2027

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) — The Azerbaijan Mining Expo 2027 international exhibition will take place on 8–10 September 2027 at the Baku Expo Center in Baku, according to exhibition materials.

The event will bring together mining industry representatives, government officials, investors, EPC contractors, engineering firms, equipment manufacturers and technology providers from Azerbaijan, the Caucasus, Central Asia and other international markets.

The exhibition will cover the entire mining value chain, from geological exploration and field development to mineral processing and heavy machinery manufacturing. Special focus will be placed on digitizing the mining sector and adopting sustainable mining practices.

The exhibition comes amid development in Azerbaijan's mining sector, which holds reserves of gold, copper, iron ore and polymetallic ores. More than 170 prospective deposits have been identified in Karabakh and East Zangezur.

Azerbaijan plans to develop 134 new mineral deposits and modernize existing enterprises by 2030, exhibition materials said.

Organizers are positioning the event as an international platform for companies seeking new opportunities in the region's mining sector, aiming to establish business contacts, connect technology providers with investors, and support upcoming mining projects.
