Asadjon Hodjaev becomes head of Uzbekistan National Library

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Asadjon Hodjaev has been appointed as director of National Library of Uzbekistan named after Alisher Navoi.

Prior to appointment, Asadjon Hodjaev worked as director-general of the Agency for Intellectual Property of Uzbekistan. He was appointed to the post in July 2011.

At this post he replaced Absalom Umarov, who was dismissed from his duties as he retired on a pension.
