Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) — As part of an official working visit to the United States, Shukhratbek Abdurakhmonov, Hokim of Andijan Region, visited an industrial enterprise in New Jersey founded by Sardor Ashurov, a native of Andijan.
The enterprise specializes in the production of “Alcopon” aluminum composite panels, which play an important role in the construction industry. Part of the raw materials is supplied from Andijan in semi-processed form, after which the factory produces finished products intended for the U.S. domestic market. These aluminum composite panels are recognized as highly demanded in modern architecture and construction due to their light weight, strength, and durability.
During the visit, the Hokim discussed with the entrepreneur his experience and the advanced technologies used at the plant. Prospective areas for further enterprise development were also reviewed.
At the meeting, the entrepreneur was encouraged to expand operations and establish collaboration with companies in Andijan. He noted plans to open a showroom of modern construction materials in Uzbekistan, particularly in Andijan, to supply the local market with high-quality products.
These initiatives received support, including discussions on investment incentives, infrastructure, and cooperation opportunities with local partners. Agreements were also reached on implementing joint projects in several areas.
