Alexander Zhurbin says he will visit Tashkent regularly

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Famous Russian composer Alexander Zhurbin, who was born in Tashkent, visited Republican Specialized Musical Academic Lyceum named after Uspensky, where he studied.

The Lyceum hosted a recital on 29 November 2012, which was dedicated to activities of composer. It was organized by Fund Forum and Rossotrudnichestvo (Russian Cooperation).

The evening passed in an unusually warm and cozy atmosphere, full of beautiful music, sincere words, good memories and interesting stories of the composer's life, Fund Forum said.

During the event, Alexander Zhurbin performed his music from famous films, musicals and plays. Two hour event passed fast.

After the event, Alexander Zhurbin expressed gratitude to director of lyceum Dildora Jamalova and teachers, who continue traditions of educational establishment. He added that now he will regularly visit Tashkent.
