Akcura new UN resident coordinator

Fikret Akcura, a Turkish national, remained resident coordinator in Uzbekistan till October 2004 and served in the same capacity in Kazakhstan before that. Fikret has a PhD in Energy Economics.

Prior to his seven-years in the two countries of Central Asia, he was in New York at the Bureau of Management.
