Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Turkey offers to increase number of flights between Uzbekistan and Turkey, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Turkey Ahmet Davutoğlu said in Tashkent on Thursday.

Ahmet Davutoğlu underlined that currently seven flights a week link Uzbekistan and Turkey. He said Turkey wants to increase number of flights to 14 a week.

Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Turkey said that Turkey also wants to launch flights to Samarkand and Bukhara.

According to him, opening of new flights will increase number of tourists, which will help to develop tourism in Uzbekistan.
