Aero Nomad launches regular flights between Tashkent and Bishkek
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) — Kyrgyz airline Aero Nomad operated its first regular flight on the Bishkek–Tashkent–Bishkek route on 23 August. The Airbus A320 arrived at Tashkent International Airport at 10:22 p.m. local time, Uzbekistan Airports said.
The first flight from Bishkek to Tashkent carried 163 passengers, while 74 passengers registered for the return flight to the Kyrgyz capital. The aircraft operated by the new carrier was welcomed with a traditional water salute, while passengers were greeted with national dishes.
Aero Nomad will operate regular flights between Bishkek and Tashkent twice a week, on Thursdays and Sundays. The airline will use Airbus A320 aircraft on the route.
With the launch of the new service, Aero Nomad has become the third airline operating flights between Tashkent and Bishkek. Direct air connections between the two capitals are also provided by Uzbekistan Airways and Centrum Air.
Aero Nomad is considering expanding its route network in Uzbekistan. The airline is studying the possibility of launching flights from Bishkek to Samarkand and Urgench.
Aero Nomad is a Kyrgyz airline founded in 2021 and based at Bishkek International Airport. The carrier operates regular and charter flights using aircraft from the Airbus A320 family.
