Termiz adds 30 new Zongtong buses to city routes

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) — Thirty new Zongtong buses have started operating on city routes in Termiz ahead of Uzbekistan’s 35th Independence Day, Uzbekistan’s Transport Ministry said.

The buses were purchased by Universal elektrotexnik servis LLC to improve the quality and safety of passenger transportation.

Surkhandarya region Governor Ulugbek Kasimov attended the launch event. He congratulated residents on the upcoming Independence Day and noted the importance of upgrading public transport to improve the quality of services.

The new buses will operate on two routes. Route No. 1 will run between the railway station and the Pattakesar mahalla.

Route No. 5 will operate as a circular route connecting Istiklol Square, Takhta market, Manguzar Mosque, the railway station and Istiklol Square.
