Adelaide hit with suspensions

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Adelaide United’s Eugene Galekovic and Angelo Costanzo have received one-match suspensions and will miss their team’s AFC Champions League final, second leg against Japan’s Gamba Osaka next week.

Both were shown yellow cards in two matches during the knock-out phase of the competition.

Galekovic and Constanzo were cautioned during the team’s 1-1 quarter-final, first leg draw away to J.League side Kashima Antlers on September 17.

They received a second booking in their 3-0 defeat to Gamba in Osaka on Wednesday, which means an automatic one-match suspension.
