Youth Union created in Uzbekistan

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) -- Youth Union was founded in Uzbekistan on the basis of the Civic Youth Movemenet Kamolot.

On 30 June, Kamolot organized its fourth congress in Tashkent.

President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev took part in the congress and criticized the activities of Kamolot. The head of Uzbekistan proposed the creation of the Uzbekistan Youth Union.

The delegates supported the proposal to organize the Union of Youth of Uzbekistan on the basis of the Kamolot.

At the congress, 30 June – a day of creation of Uzbekistan Youth Movement – was announced at the Youth Day in Uzbekistan.

Kakhramon Kuronboev was elected the chairman of the central council of Uzbekistan Youth Union.
