Wholesale trade of Uzbekistan exceeds 10.29 trln. soums in 1Q

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) -- In January-March 2018, the volume of wholesale trade of Uzbekistan amounted to 10.297 trillion soums, or rose by 2.3% year-on-year, the State Statistics Committee of Uzbekistan said.

Compared to the previous year, the volume of wholesale trade shows a decrease in growth rates for the following regions: Tashkent – 0.3%, Samarkand region – 0.8%, Andijan region – 3.3%, Bukhara region – 8.1%, Kashkadarya region – 12.9%.

The turnover of small enterprises and microfirms increased by 4.6 percent and reached 7.14 trillion soums, the share of sales in the total turnover of wholesale trade was 69.3 percent.
