Uzexpocenter hosts sectoral industrial fair
The fair is the first stage of traditional International Industrial Fair and Cooperation Exchange, which will be held from 29 October to 2 November 2013.
The main goal of the industrial fair is to assist businesses to expand long-term economic relations in production and supply of ready products, materials and spare parts based on inter-sectorial cooperation, attract foreign investors and buyers, as well as potential partners.
Last year, some 122 enterprises participated at the sectoral industrial fair of the enterprises of geology, fuel-energy complex, chemistry, petrochemical and metallurgy industry and over 4,500 people visited the fair. About 266 deals for 118.6 billion soums and US$30.9 million were signed.
This year, the fair is also attended by such enterprises as Uzbekneftegaz, Navoi Mining and Metalluegy Combine, Uzbekenergo, Uzbekko’mir, Uzkimyosanoat, Uzmetkombinat, State Geology Committee, and other organizations.
